2004 international
beer festival will have 2 hosting courts

It is
learned from the news press that the 14th Qingdao international beer festival
will be held from 14th to 29th in August. The biggest difference of this year
is--- the festival will be held
in 2 courts, international beer city in the east
and Huiquan Square in the west.
The beer city will mainly focus on the feature of beer culture and
entertainment function. For the first time, it will add to some amusement
programs and install more amusement equipments. At the same time, there will be
a new German village set up which can contain 3,500 people. Tourists will be
able to listen to German music, taste German beer and food here.
With full utilization of the sports equipments, sound effects, and big-screen
TV, Huiquan Square will represent the feature of beer and sports, beer and
music, beer and leisure.
The new hosting court of Huiquan Square expands the size of beer festival by
1/3 to cover the whole city by corresponding to the eastern court. As the beer
festival goes on with Athens Olympics, ¡° Drink beer, watch Olympics¡± will become
