¡¡¡¡Mayor Xia Geng inspected the construction of big parking lots and gave
greetings to the workers of public transportation who worked on hot weather.
¡¡¡¡Mr. Xia visited the construction sites of 3 big parking lots and learned
specific information about the planning and construction
progress. Mr. Xia
pointed that as one of the projects the Government vowed to do in 2004, this
project will not only solve the traffic problem, but also will save land
resources, while improving the parking availability and adding to the
beautification of the city. He requested the concerned departments to finish it
on time.
¡¡¡¡At public transportation corporation headquarters, Mr. Xia gave greetings
and thanks to the employees working during the hot weather. Afterwards, he
listened to the report on the recent development of pubic transportation and
raised some requests concerning the suggestions from citizens on public
transportation. After the GPS demonstration, he affirmed the efforts to improve
