Economy and International Shipping held in Qingdao

A forum on Harbor Economy and International Shipping was held in
Qingdao. It was jointly sponsored by HK Shipping development Bureau, Qingdao
Office for Overseas Chinese and Qingdao Port
Administration. Representatives
from Maresk, Sino-trans attended the forum.
Vice Mayor Hu Shaojun addressed the forum. He said Qingdao is one of China¡¯s
economic centers and opening coastal city, and the city has highlighted its
development on Port, Marine and Tourist.
The attendees held discussions on how to further promote cooperation between
Qingdao and shipping companies from other parts of the world.
