¡¡¡¡The 2004 Shibei Economic Promotion Month ended with a success last week.
¡¡¡¡The drive of Economic Promotion Month started June 26. It consisted of 10
parts, 18 major events which including the foundation laying of Qingdao Central
Business District, the building of Fishermen's Port
at Xiaogang Bay; the
foundation laying of Jiaozhou Bay New Industrial Base and the unveiling of Xinge
City Industrial area. The holding of the Korean Cultural Festival has further
promoted the relation between Shibei and Korea. During the first half of the
year, Shibei has enjoyed a 20% increase in retail value and 5% economic increase
compared to that of last year.
¡¡¡¡During the promotional month, the district has reached a cooperation
tendency for 23 projects with a total value of 12 billion Yuan. Enditem will
