¡¡¡¡With The Qingdao Road Maintaining and Repairing Service Standard being
announced today, future road repair will not be able to exceed the 10-day time
limit.
¡¡¡¡The new standard makes it clear the specific standards, the time period,
the obligation and the supervision of road mai
ntaining and repairing work in
four districts. Small repairs on sidewalks cannot exceed 5 days, large-scale
repairs 10 days and work on main streets and scenic spots should be finished 1
or 2 days shorter than the above time limits. Repairs seriously affecting normal
passage of vehicles and passers-by must be dealt with within one day. Special
