¡¡¡¡After 5 months' construction, the Jihongtan Power Substation with a
production capacity of 220 kilovolts began production of electricity recently.
¡¡¡¡As a key project of the Qingdao Electricity Network, it will provide the
northern part of the city with more convenience.
¡¡¡¡
Construction of the project began last March. Its designed capacity is
54-kilo volt-ampere. With 110 million Yuan invested, the station has the most
advanced equipment. After its completion, the Jihongtan Power Substation will
contribute another 36-kilo volts to the electricity network, and thus greatly
ease the electricity shortage in Qingdao.
¡¡¡¡With 500 Kilovolts, the Laoshan Power Substation is being expanded and 110
Kilovolts Huanshan and Chengyang Power Substations are under construction. A
